Buddha Dordenma (Buddha Point, Thimphu)

Standing majestically at 169 feet, this golden Buddha statue radiates peace and serenity across the Thimphu Valley. Dochula Pass

At an altitude of 3,100m, Dochula Pass is one of Bhutan’s most scenic stops. With 108 memorial chortens built in honor of Bhutanese soldiers, prayer flags fluttering in the wind, and snow-capped Himalayan peaks in the distance, this pass offers travelers a moment of reflection and awe.

Mebar Tsho (Burning Lake, Bumthang)​

Known as the “Burning Lake,” Mebar Tsho is one of Bhutan’s most sacred pilgrimage sites. It is believed that the great treasure revealer Terton Pema Lingpa discovered hidden treasures here in the 15th century, while holding a burning butter lamp that miraculously did not go out. Surrounded by cliffs and pine forests, the lake exudes an aura of mystery and spirituality, attracting both pilgrims and travelers seeking blessings and peace.

Chele La Pass

At 3,988m, Chele La is Bhutan’s highest motorable pass. On a clear day, travelers are treated to panoramic views of Mount Jomolhari, Mount Jichu Drake, and endless layers of valleys. The road to the pass is equally enchanting, lined with colorful prayer flags and blooming rhododendrons in spring.

Bumthang Valley

The spiritual heartland of Bhutan, Bumthang is a sprawling, high-altitude valley known for its serenity and deep religious history. Comprising four distinct smaller valleys (Chumey, Tang, Ura, and Choekhor), it is home to some of the country's oldest and most sacred Lhakhangs (temples) and monasteries.
